     Since 1860 Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi (UAIC) has been carrying on a tradition of excellence and innovation in the fields of education and research. Nowadays, it ranks among the first in the country, enjoys high prestige at national and international level, cooperates with over 300 universities world-wide and is a member of the Coimbra Group, Utrecht Network, EUA (European University Association), IAU (International Association of Universities) and AUF (l’Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie). These partnerships have offered our students and academics the opportunity to benefit from study and teaching/research periods abroad and participate in various international scientific events, to participate in joint programs that have brought diversity and dynamism to academic life and an added value to the quality of teaching and research. UAIC is highly committed to involve its financial and operational capacity in order to professionally participate in European projects.

     UAIC will help PC partners establish a joint Master program in Leadership in Education (also, some professional development courses will be designed within the Master program). Our university will participate in the project activities and tasks related to the identification of needs, review of current research, development of curriculum, syllabi, and selection of materials and methods, examination of wider educational leadership issues, as well as help with the implementation and the dissemination of the program.
